FAQ
Common questions about how Zenteomics works.
How is this different from a bioinformatics core?
Cores often run standard pipelines. Zenteomics focuses on the analytical questions specific to your experiment, with careful attention to assumptions and reproducibility. Every engagement is founder-led.
What if my data isn't publication-ready?
That's often when I'm most useful. I can assess what's salvageable, identify QC issues, and help get the analysis to a defensible state.
Do you work with graduate students or only PIs?
Both. If you're a trainee with a small budget, describe your situation. I can often work within constraints or suggest a scoped approach.
What's your typical turnaround time?
It depends on scope. A QC review might take 3-5 business days. A full analysis support engagement is typically 2-4 weeks. I'll give you a timeline upfront.
How do you handle sensitive or unpublished data?
Data sharing arrangements are established in writing before any transfer. I'm used to working under NDAs and can sign standard confidentiality agreements.
Do you take on open-ended retainers?
No. Every engagement has defined inputs, outputs, and boundaries. You'll know exactly what you're getting and what it costs before we start.
